We offer a twelve step Substance Abuse (Alcohol Chemical Treatment Series: A.C.T.S.) class
THE A.C.T.S. PROGRAM IS FORMATTED INTO THREE SEPARATE SEGMENTS.
1) Educational information, covering physical, psychological, & emotional changes associated with alcohol or chemical
abuses.
2) Visual illustration, applied to enhance the Educational aspect of the lessons.
3) Historical application, in this the Visual & Educational segments are linked with a story, which gives the class participant complete understanding of the lesson. This in turn empowers the participant to relate the lesson to their own problems, fears, and desires.
Some Advantages of Using A.C.T.S.:
- Upon request A.C.T.S. can assist in probation requirements and provide participants progress reports to state or federal agencies
- A.C.T.S. can assist the school system with delinquency and detention requirements
- A.C.T.S. provides support group settings for participants and their families
- A.C.T.S. reinforces positive character development and strengthens any after care effort
